One trick is to combine protein with good carbohydrates; the two will then work together in the body to naturally burn its own fat.

Be careful when choosing your fruits and vegetables, as a rule of thumb it is advisable to avoid most fruits and vegetables with a white flesh. Items like potatoes, pears, apples, bananas and most corn and flour products like breads and pasta. I like to refer to these foods as trigger foods, most of which are low fiber foods that are easily eaten in large portions and will ultimately contribute to weight gain.
